Once again, our community member, Adam is inviting L’Arche Adelaide, along with family & friends, to join him on his Mother’s Day Fundraising Walk– except that it’s not on Mother’s Day, it’s one week later!
Adam is a keen fundraiser, and this year his chosen charity is Dementia Australia, a charity that supports research, support, and education. Like many of us, Adam knows people who sadly have lived with dementia, so he would like to raise money for this worthy cause. Please click on the link below if you would like to donate via Adam’s personalised fundraising page.
Where: Thorndon Park Reserve, Hamilton Terrace, Paradise.
When: Sunday 19 May, meet at 2:00pm, just inside the entrance adjacent to the car park
What’s happening: Feel free to walk as many laps as you like around the lake! Then you can sit down and cheer others on as they go by. Please note the circuit is wheelchair friendly.
When everyone is done, we will then go over to The Rezz (just opposite Thorndon Park Reserve) for refreshments. Adam is kindly providing afternoon tea at The Rezz. Drinks and extra food can be purchased.
RSVP: For catering purposes, please email larchadelaide@gmail.com by Wednesday 15 May if you are coming
