About our Community
L’Arche Hobart Beni-Abbes had its beginnings in Hobart in 1986 with a house in the Northern suburbs. The shape of our community has changed over time, and we no longer provide supported accommodation. However, we continue to offer friendship and community to people with and without intellectual disability. We enjoy differing events and activities such as Solidarity Night, Café L’arche, Coffee Night, community barbecues, picnics and numerous celebrations. New members are always welcome.
We have many long term supporters, members and friends who all add richness to our story.
